As the 2011
school year draws to a close all the staff at Wakefield School would
like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a safe and happy
holiday. We would like to say farewell and a big thank you to James
Martin, one of our much loved teachers and wish him all the best in his
future endeavers. Also we would like to welcome Leon Schmeder who will
be joining our staff in 2012. Students Return 30 January 2012.

Fire Safety
Summer has officially started and with it comes the increased risk of
bush and house fires. If you live in a bushfire prone area, ensure you
have taken the necessary steps to protect your property and family from

It is now law
that caravans and campervans be fitted with working smoke alarms. Check
LPG gas bottles for leaks as this is how many barbecue fires start.
